We are sailing a Swedish design named B31 (31 feet). It was built during the 70s and 80s, about 3000 yachts were made. A dutch yacht surveyor said: "Better and more solid than most European Yachts, a competitor for construction only be found by boats from the Najad, Hallberg-Rassy or the latest Contest designs." Well, that might be a bit exaggerated although we find her very solid and trustworthy. Since Cantare has been a part of the captain's family for ten years now the captain has become quite familiar with her construction wich will probably be a good thing when we're in the middle of the Atlantic.
